“Silent” Retreats for Quieting the Mind

Dates: 16 – 20 November 2025
This ‘silent’ retreat is for all those who wish to deepen their spiritual practice, with the delightful aim of discovering what we really are: the essence of Peace, Joy and Love.
It's not so much about ‘being silent’ as it is ‘experiencing silence’. Silence here is about that feeling of inner peace, unencumbered by cause or reason, that arises when the busy mind calms down. Like the blue sky masked by clouds, when the mind dissolves, our true nature can reveal itself: luminous, conscious, infinitely calm, and quiet.
To help quieten the mind and find your calm expansive nature, you will be invited to keep verbal communication to a minimum during this retreat. Meals and walks will be in silence. We will bring ourselves to the present moment. This (re)discovered sense of presence will help elevate everyday activities from the banal to the sublime.
The daily practice of yoga (postures and meditation), connection with nature, and a calm conducive environment will support this return to presence.
A daily Q&A session will be held each evening to address any questions or insights that may arise.

The Program
Practical Information

Language
The main language of the retreat is English, including yoga, meditation, and evening reflections.
For French speakers, assistance with translation is possible. The retreat encourages you to experience presence beyond words — understanding every sentence is not required.
Food
Unlike our regular yoga retreats focused on regional gastronomy, meals here are prepared with simplicity, in line with the spirit of the retreat.
• Inspired by ashram-style cuisine
• Ingredients: local, and where possible organic
• Less focus on French or Provençal flavors
Karma Yoga
You will participate in light duties (kitchen prep, cleaning) via a shared rota. Tasks are brief and supported by our team.
