Opening Time

 

The frogs’ house is open year round, with 2 offers:

​

– up to about 30 weekly retreats a year where Benoit leads the retreat and the frogs’ house team are your hosts, designing and delivering the whole programme

– up to about 10 weeks where we host retreats led by colleagues from around the world, be they yoga teachers or other wellbeing retreat leaders.

 

Bookings made through online platforms and travel agencies

 

Please note that all booking and cancellation conditions below apply solely to reservations made directly with the frogs’ house. If you have booked a retreat using an online platform or a travel agency, please refer to your booking confirmation email for detailed terms and conditions.

 

The frogs’ house booking conditions for individuals

 

• Bookings are only confirmed upon all three of the following conditions being satisfied

  • Payment of a deposit equal to 25% of the fees of the retreat booked.

  • Receipt of your full credit card details (the 16 digit card number, expiry date, and the security code)

  • Pre-authorisation of the balance of payment on the credit or debit card provided.

• Should the card details submitted be incorrect, or the payment of the deposit or pre-authorisation of the balance be refused by your card issuer, for whatsoever reason, the frogs’ house reserves the right to continue marketing the room and the package that are the subject of your booking, until such time as the deposit payment of 25% of the fees is received by us AND we have details of a credit card from you on which we can request a pre-authorisation.

• The balance of the fees is due two weeks before the start date of your retreat. At this point, we will charge this remaining payment to the credit card details provided at the time of booking, unless payment has already been made by you using other means.

• You are welcome to settle the balance of payment earlier than the time at which it is due by contacting us.

• By making the 25% deposit you undertake to acknowledge, understand, and accept the cancellation conditions for individuals detailed hereunder.

 

The frogs’ house cancellation conditions for individuals

 

• All fees paid (deposit and balance if the latter has been settled) are fully refundable in cases of cancellation for whatsoever reason more than 30 days before the arrival date.

• In case of cancellation in the 15-29 days before the start of your booked retreat, your 25% deposit will not be refundable. However, if you have paid the balance already, the balance payment is still refundable.

• The full fee for the retreat is non-refundable in case of cancellations within the last 14 days before the start of the retreat.

The frogs’ house modification conditions for individuals

​

• Bookings made on our website or by contacting us directly without the intermediary of third parties are modifiable subject to availability up to 1 day before the start date of the retreat.

• Modifications incur the payment of any price difference between the original and the new booking.

• No refund will be given if the new booking fee is lower than the original booking.

• The date of future retreat must be chosen at the time of modification. Reservations cannot be held or parked pending future decisions on dates.

• Date of new retreat must be within the current or next calendar year.

• Only one modification is possible.

The frogs’ house booking conditions for private retreat groups

 

• A 25% deposit of the full retreat fee, including all meals and services booked is required to book your private retreat. Until this deposit is settled, no hold will be placed on the rooms and we will continue to market the dates to other potential bookers.

• A further 50% of the booking fee is payable at least 3 months before your arrival.

• The remaining 25% of the booking fee is payable one month before arrival.

The frogs’ house cancellation conditions for private retreat groups

​

• A minimum of 100€ will be retained by us in case of all cancellations. Any further costs incurred by the frogs’ house, for example in the hire of external accommodation, or for the reservation of services such as activities and excursions through third party partners will be passed on to the booker.

• 50% of the booking fees will be kept in case of cancellation within 3 months of the arrival date.

• 75% of the booking fee will be retained in case of cancellation within 2 months before the arrival date.

• The full booking fee will be non-refundable in case of cancellation within 1 month of the arrival date.

Diets and allergies

​

The food we provide is vegetarian. We are able to guarantee a vegan diet for guests who require it.

​

We will do our best to cater for other diets that are of a medical, ethical, religious or spiritual nature. Please let us know the details of such diets at the time of booking and absolutely no later than two weeks before the start date of your retreat.

​

If you have a diet based on personal preference, other than a vegan diet, please note that we cannot promise to be able to cater for it.

​

In all cases of diets, while the chef is onsite, and will do her best, please understand that she cannot prepare separate dishes for each guest at every meal, and as in all situations when a shared meal is provided, there may be occasions when there will be ingredients that might not accord with your diet. In such cases, you are welcome to provide your own alternatives. There are shops in the village and a guest fridge at your disposal for this purpose.

We do not serve meat, poultry, fish or seafood. But we do not mind if you wish to buy your own meat products and use the guest fridge to store them. There is a butcher's shop in the village.

Pets

​

If there is a good reason why you’d like to bring your pet on your retreat with you, please contact us. We love animals and will do our best to accommodate them while considering the health, safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all the guest and staff. But for all the reasons that we are sure you’ll understand, unfortunately we cannot routinely accept all pets and have to consider each case individually. Your pet will have to be fairly small and extremely well trained, posing no disturbance whatsoever to other guests. If you think these prerequisites are in place, please contact us to talk more.

Smoking

​

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house, including on the balconies attached to the bedrooms. This extends to the use of electronic cigarettes. All the rooms are equipped with smoke detectors. If you really need to smoke, please use the terrace and please be mindful of other non-smoking guests.

 

Loss or theft

 

The frogs' house bears no responsibility for any loss of property for whatsoever reason, including, but not limited to theft, accidents, incidents, etc. during your stay with us, inside or outside of our house.
